Dear friends,

Pune Jazz & Blues Club did not organize programme in December 2013 in lieu of the fact that we had just experienced some fantastic music in the International Jazz Festival at Shisha Cafe in November and in December some four European and one American Band performed at Shisha.

we are happy to announce that Pune Jazz & Blues Club will have a live Jazz programme on Sunday 5th January 2014 at 12:30 in the afternoon at the Shisha Cafe where Pune All Blues Band – “Crossroads” will perform.

Do come and bring your friends along for an exciting afternoon of Jazz and Blues.

Thanks.

” Songs have been an integral part of Indian films. The singers, the music directors, the lyricists have all been celebrated for their work and many have attained legendary status. But…….. who were those unseen and uncredited musicians who made up the orchestras that played on those songs and arranged the entire scores for bands comprising over a 100 musicians .Many of them were jazz musicians of Bombay like the Lord Family, Chic Chocolate, Manohari Singh, Sebastian D’Souza and so many more.
Come see a film on these great unsungs who made Indian film music of old what it is, at Mazda Hall,Col Tarapore Road, Poona Camp on December 1st at 6 pm Dont miss it “
